  • 2.5 years of advanced specialisation in the medical and surgical management of complex glaucoma and cataracts at Moorfields Eye Hospital London
  • Certificate of Completion of Training in Ophthalmology from North Thames London Deanery following Higher Ophthalmology Specialist training rotations mostly at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London

Research interest / experience:

  • Diagnosis & surgical management of Glaucoma and Cataracts
  • Minimally invasive Glaucoma surgery (MIGS)
  • Trabeculectomy procedures
  • Glaucoma Drainage implants (tubes)
  • Clear lens extractions for angle closure glaucoma
  • One year clinical research fellowship at Moorfields Eye Hospital with Mr Keith Barton in glaucoma surgery
  • Awarded Fight For Sight grant to conduct a 3 year Research Fellowship in laboratory neuroscience at UCL Institute of Ophthalmology that led to a PhD thesis in Experimental Ophthalmology
  • Member of the International Glaucoma Panel and Mentoring Program - a three year scholarship program 2015-2017
  • Achievement Award by American Academy of Ophthalmology 2018
  • European Society of Ophthalmology award for best research paper 2007
  • Lecturer and examiner UCL and City University London
  • Over 80 national and international presentations and instruction courses
