Moorfields Private Eye Hospital has won a healthcare industry accolade at the 2019 LaingBuisson Awards.
The world-renowned private hospital, part of Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Trust, was awarded in the ‘Clinical services – Healthcare Outcomes’ category.
The annual event, which celebrates industry excellence in the public, private and third sector, was held in London on November 13.
Senior Moorfields staff including director of private care Andrew Robertson and medical director Nick Strouthidis attended the event, and accepted the prize on behalf of the hospital.
Commenting on the win, Mr Robertson said;
“We are delighted to have won this award. Winning in this category shows that our core values, our commitment to innovation in eye health and our achievements are recognised by the wider industry”.
Moorfields Eye Hospital Chief executive David Probert added;
