What are your areas of expertise?
As an oculoplastic surgeon my speciality interests cover all aspects of oculoplastic surgery.
This includes a range of procedures for correction of ptosis, upper lid blepharoplasty, treatment and precision removal of benign and malignant peri ocular lesions, lacrimal procedures for watery eyes ranging from punctoplasty to endonasal DCR, surgery for augmentation of entropion and ectropion as well as trauma management and reconstruction.
In collaboration with my wonderful private team I have developed a specialist Advanced Dry Eye Clinics which as a subsection of private practice delivering bespoke approach to patients with blepharitis, as well as other causes of dry and watery eyes.
I provide botulinum toxin treatments in pathological conditions such as facial dystonias (blepharospasms, hemifacial spasms) and in cosmetic practice for fine lines and wrinkles.
Before we end this topic I also wanted to highlight my specialist interest in early diagnosis and treatment of thyroid eye disease and advanced techniques for facial palsy rejuvenation.
Why do patients come to see you?
My subspecialty in Oculoplastic Surgery means I can address patients’ clinical symptoms as well as their aesthetic concerns. With all of my patients I make sure they get as much information as they need and they have full confidence in the medical treatment they receive.
