Research interest / experience:

  • Retina – improved imaging and detection of eye disease, assessment of function, oxygen level, and retinal blood vessel flow.
  • Retinal diseases including Diabetic retinopathy, Diabetic macular oedema, Age-related macular degeneration, Retinal vein occlusion.
  • The eye in the context of systemic (including Diabetes and Cardiac) medical problems
  • Works with charitable organisations to help deliver eye care in developing countries such as rural area eye clinics with Eyessee in Sri Lanka, and educational knowledge sharing with Lifeline Express in China.
