  • Innovation, bringing new technologies and treatments into clinical use

  • Normal and abnormal development of the eye including genetics
  • Amblyopia (lazy eye) and its management in children and adults
  • Testing visual function in children, including children with complex needs
  • Development of patient-reported outcome measures
  • Wellcome Trust Research Training Fellowship to pursue PhD in Eye Wound Healing 2002-2005
  • Advanced Subspecialty Training in Paediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus, Cambridge 2006-2007
